PITTSBURGH – The 354th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment celebrated with two of their Soldiers during their April’s battle assembly together.

The unit promoted Capt. David Zuzak, executive officer from Charleroi, Pa., to his current rank and presented a farewell cake to Spc. John Sheldon, a broadcast journalist from Westview, Pa., on April 17.

Sheldon completed his initial enlistment contract after six years in the Army Reserve.

Zuzak’s wife, Claudia, pressed the new rank onto her husband’s chest during his promotion ceremony.

Congratulations to our very own, Sgt. Bob Timney, for a fantastic job singing the National Anthem at the opening of the Pittsburgh Penguins playoff on Wednesday. What made his performance special is that part way through the song he lifted the microphone and welcomed 18,000 fans to sing along with him.

Please watch the video linked above!

Timney was asked to perform again tonight. If you get a chance, please turn on your TVs and take a look!
